Each Moroccan rug is woven and knotted by hand. Depending on the level of complexity, a single rug can take up to weeks or months to complete. The craft and techniques have been passed through for generations. Designs, patterns and colors are very specific to one tribe – but will always be unique from rug to rug.

Please note:

This is a handmade item, sometimes vintage condition and contains characteristic irregularities. Variation and imperfection in weave, fiber size, color and overall rug size (up to 5% in length and width) are normal characteristics. We aim to describe and show as accurately as possible the condition of each piece. Please note all vintage items had a previous life and so may have slight wear and repairs.
