DarBodé unique concrete tiles are authentically produced by hand in Morocco by our team of skilled artisan in respect to a craft that is over 170 years old.
Atelier Dar Bodé
Made from cement, pigment, marble powder and water, our cement tiles have a very low ecological impact. The color pigments we use are organic, the tiles are pressed under high pressure which requires no heat during the production process, which results in a very ecological production.
We visit our factorie on a regular basis and can guarantee that there is no child labor. We make sure that the working conditions in the factories are good.
Craft
Our tiles are handmade, so subtle colour and line variation can occur from tile to tile. small differences in dimensions and thickness and minor imperfections are possible. These little variations are the essence and natural of the handmade product, giving every floor or wall a characteristic charm and result in more depth in your interior.
It's for that reason we prefer the Moroccan cement tiles above the Vietnamese, that have a more industrial and standard appearance, and will give a flat final result.
